My paintings are an expression of my appreciation for the beauty found in a variety of landscape types and locations.

 

I am inspired by the simple, and at times, complex splendor that is created by nature- vast open spaces, dramatic skies over rolling hills, the play of color and texture between land and sky.

Inspiring landscapes can also occur with some human assistance. Farm fields, golf courses, and vineyards are but a few of the vistas that can be a stunning collaboration of man and nature.

 

Acrylic paint, applied in many thin layers, or in bold, thick strokes, is utilized to create my interpretation of the beauty around me.
